It's time!
I haven't blogged forever! Ryan and I have been so hooked on Grey's Anatomy lately! Thank You Netflix for providing so much entertainment for us! I don't want to get behind on here because my boys are changing so much I have to get it down before I forget!! We've had a fun October, and just like you, I can't believe it's already over. I turned 31 this past week, and it just blows my mind that I've reached this age. For some reason 30 seemed so totally old when I was a teenager, and now that I'm here, I see other women younger than me and think they look older than I do. Maybe it's just wishful thinking on my part, but I still feel like I'm in my 20's. We went to Dickey's bbq for dinner a few days before, and then on my actual b-day Ryan stayed home for the first half of the day so that I could sleep in as long as I wanted. I think I finally woke up around 11 a.m. It was the best present ever!! We celebrated with the Henricksen crew the Sunday before, as well as had our annual Boo Bash. It was such a fun day, and made me realize yet again, how lucky I am to have the amazing in-laws that I do. Spencer got his invitation to the boo bash about a week before in the mail. I let him open it, and explained what it was all about. He was so blown away that he got his own card in the mail, and hung it on the fridge proudly. Anytime the cousins touched it, or it got moved he would totally freak out and throw a major fit. When the day finally arrived, we all got dressed up and headed over. Spencer was a puppy for Halloween this year, and after playing in a bubble bath, decided to name himself Soapy the dog. We dressed Kameron up as an owl, and I glued some triangles on a headband, made a tail out of some socks, and drew on some whiskers. I convinced Ryan to dress up as Harry Potter using Spencer's cape, and a stick from the front yard. I drew a lightning bolt on his forehead, and we were ready to go! Julie was dressed up as a clown, and Ron dressed up as a fat man. They had tons of white balloons with ghost faces all over, orange balloons in the shape of a pumpkin, and lots of fun games set up. When everyone arrived the games begun. We played pin the mouth on the skeleton, throw the darts at the balloon pumpkin, ghost bowling, and then we wrapped the kiddos up like mummy's. After the games we had a super yummy dinner, and a chocolate cake that made you gain weight just by looking at it! We all had such a fun time, and look forward to it every year! Thanks so much Ama and Papa for all the fun! And thank you all for the b-day wishes. Here's to another year of fun, change, and craziness!
